IMPORTANT NOTE for SD|Flex customers
If you are upgrading from 7.2b2 or earlier software it is recommended that you Uninstall the old software and restart your machine before installing this version of the software. This is necessary to ensure that the firmware on your card gets upgraded correctly.

It is important that the software and the card's firmware are both upgraded. The installer will determine if a firmware upgrade is necessary and will guide you through the process:

The firmware upgrade may take a couple of minutes to complete.

DO NOT shut down your machine during this period as your card may be left inoperable.

After the firmware upgrade has completed, click the Shut Down button.

When you switch on your computer again, your card will be running the new firmware.
