 Installer v7.6 SD|Flex (Tiger, FCP 5.1.4) Date: 3/8/2007 Size: 5.2 MB Digital Voodoo 7.6 Release Notes March 7, 2007 Analog Installer This installer supports Apple MacOS 10.4.8 This installer supports Apple Final Cut Studio (5.1.4 with QuickTime 7.1.5 This installer supports: - Dual 2GHz G5 machines IMPORTANT NOTE for SD|Flex customers If you are upgrading from 7.2b2 or earlier software it is recommended that you Uninstall the old software and restart your machine before installing this version of the software. This is necessary to ensure that the firmware on your card gets upgraded correctly. It is important that the software and the card's firmware are both upgraded. The installer will determine if a firmware upgrade is necessary and will guide you through the process: The firmware upgrade may take a couple of minutes to complete. DO NOT shut down your machine during this period as your card may be left inoperable. After the firmware upgrade has completed, click the Shut Down button. When you switch on your computer again, your card will be running the new firmware. Hardware Requirements: ATTO UL3D SCSI card with 1.6.6 firmware, version 3.2.1 drivers For deck control, Keyspan USB Twin Serial Adapter, version 2.3 drivers. Refer to the web site at www.digitalvoodoo.net for further details. A Playback Offset of +1 frame may be required in Final Cut Pro's Device Control Presets for accurate Edit To Tape. A Capture Offset of +1.6 frames may be required in Final Cut Pro's Device Control Presets for accurate batch captures. Known Issues: - Voodoo Feature Control analog signal settings are reset to defaults when opening a new document.
